These past few days have been interesting to say the least. It’s like I’ve started quite a few things over, yet am working to catch up on so many things. And I’ve learned a lot of things, such as the importance of not falling behind and not taking the easy road every time. And I’m still working on those things.
But God has also been trying to bang one important fact into my mind: prayer is so important. I think that I’ve grown much closer to God in the past few weeks just because I have worked on being in prayer daily. I’ve praised God, I’ve thanked him, and I’ve asked him for guidance. Through prayer I have come to know Christ more.

My next mission is to start back on memorizing God’s Word. I really believe that it is vital to memorize Scripture, and I regret slacking off in the past few months. I’ve slacked off on a lot of things, and as I said, I need to get back on track. And it’s going to take a lot of prayer as I work to clean things up, work hard, and grow closer to the Lord.

Yep, staying in the Word is never easy. The enemy knows full well that we rearm and rejuvenate when we read/memorize Scripture, so he trys to keep us away from it as much as he can! It’s like a divide and conquer strategy…

“Prayer is so important.” Thank you for the reminder. The timing of your post is quite amazing as just recently God has been impressing prayer on my mind. In fact last night I wrote on my to-do list for today:
“contemplate/study/pray about prayer”
And I’m off to go do just that-

Agent Tim:
Thanks for your great blog and all the work you have put into it as well as into ROC. It’s hard to find the time to do everything (in fact it’s impossible) so we have to prioritize and use a schedule…
You’re right that prayer is so vital: He will guide everything if we ask Him to and trust that He will. Keep on keeping on. Hope to meet you in person someday!

Dear Tim,
Once again I am encouraged. It is a hard race we run, but at the end is the crown of glory, Let us strive with all our might to that end. I was just reading Hebrews, and i found these couple vurses, mabey they shall motivate you as they motivated me. Of course I would reccomend reading the entire chapter, so you can pick up the context.
Hebrews 4:
11)Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience.
12)For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Colossians 3:16 is also a great vurse telling the christian to memorize scripture.
Keep fighting the good fight!
God bless-
walker
