I had trouble closing my dresser drawers this afternoon. I pushed harder on the thick padding of shirts and pants. No movement. It was full - really, really full. I tossed the remaining pieces of clothing from the neatly folded laundry pile back onto my bed.
Now I must interject, it’s not that this dresser [...]

Not only did Alex and Brett interview Leeland, but on visiting Leeland’s site, I found you can actually listen to the entire album online for free. That’s awesome.

Farewell

I’ve been struggling the last few days over the issue of my blog. I’ve worked hard over the last year to make it a place where people really and truly want to read, and are made to think hard over the issues that I look at. I’ve had a wonderful time doing it, and have to say it has been a blessing from God on my life.

But, sometimes, God moves us on. He makes us tired of the things we’re doing, and they suddenly seem vulgar and out of place in our lives. He tells us over and over that what we’re doing is not the best thing to be doing. We should be doing better things. Remember, if God isn’t blessing us, then it must not be God’s will. I mean, if I don’t have a lot of money, something is certainly not right.

So, I am here to kiss my blog goodbye. No archives will be saved. Everything will be demolished tomorrow. Farewell, my good friends, and may God bless you with happiness all the days of your life! It’s hard sometimes, but I know it is for the best. God knows that the time has come for Agent Tim to leave the blogosphere, and to do other things.

*APRIL FOOLS!!!!*

I’m not leaving and I’m no heretic!

You’d better not be deleting anything on the Sabbath. Especially not tomorrow’s Sabbath. You’ll get stoned!:-)

Your words were very true though. Happy April Fools!

    TIM!!!!!!

You just about had me fooled. I saw it from ROC and though WHAT?!?!?!?

I played a pretty good joke on my family today at dinner. I had been talking to Alex and came in and said:

“That was Alex King. Regenerate Our Culture wants to fly me to D.C. to help interview Jay Sekulow and Ken Ham on ‘Creation in the Culture’.”

But I told them it was a joke pretty fast.

    Cya!

That nearly gave me a heart attack. I completely believed you…now I know how gullible I really am.

  5. CountryGoalie Says:

You had me until the line “No archives will be saved”. I then paused and thought, “Wait. Just. A. Moment.” and scrolled down for an April Fools’ notice, which just so conveniently happend to be right where I thought it would. ;) You ol’ Jester.

  6. Spunky Jr. Says:

You had me convinced too Tim! I saw it on the ROC Blog Network and gasped…my mom did too :) Glad you’re not really leaving…

  7. Garrett Says:

I am extremely glad is was a joke.

But Tim, one thing you may or may not have thought about. The archives may be deleted without your doing. The server may crash, or some other misfortune. As a fellow webmaster, I know it can happen sometimes. If you don’t already, backup your website files regularly.

  8. Tim Says:

    Thanks for the tip Garret!

  15. Sparky Says:

Tim - The first thing I did was look at the date, then I read your resignation. But this sentance confirmed my suspicion: “Remember, if God isn’t blessing us, then it must not be God’s will.” I’m glad you included the line “I’m not leaving and I’m no heretic!”.

    Keep up the good work!

Due to a very busy Saturday, I did not see this post until a few days later. It caught me completely off guard. I did think it was weird and unnatural, but I believed it all the way down to the end!
