I’ve read your blog for quite a while, but I think this is the first time I’ve commented.

I know you’re now almost a month into your classes, but I just wanted to encourage you. From what I’ve read on your blog you are a very intelligent person and it seems to me like you’ll do great in college! Just work hard and don’t procrastinate too much (trust me, I have WAY too much experience in procrastination!) Being homeschooled you’ve got a great foundation. If you trust God and do your very best then you’ll do great!

Hey Tim! We’re excited for you. Know that Jason and I are praying for you. We were talking about you the other day….did you get the message about what time to be at work on Wed God has big plans for you….He does for all who are willing to follow Him….anything that promotes the gospel and glorifies Him is big!!! We’ll be praying for peace, trust, and confidence along the path the God has laid out for you. I’m praying for you during this new season of life and that God will give you peace, strength, alertness, and endurance. I’ll also be praying that you’ll continue to blog; I’ll be really sad if I won’t be able to read your posts anymore! I understand those feelings of uncertainty and nervousness too and know that God brings great peace when we keep our relationship with Him first.

Tim, it is great to have you here on campus. We need to hang out sometime!

I can relate to what you are going through. I know what it is like going from a home school environment to a class room setting.

But I have found that these times of uncertainty are times that God’s goodness and glories are shown. No, you don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow. The one who bled on the cross to make you an heir with Him does though! Will the One that called you out of your dead and wicked state just leave you in a purposeless existence?

May this time of uncertainty cause you to rest in the One who’s love is more certain than the sun rising!

I’ll be praying for the both of us, Tim, and everyone else starting college this week. (Believe me, you’re academically prepared. I’m in my second year, and I can tell that you’re WAY more prepared then I was. Besides that, you’ve got God on your side. How could you not be prepared? )
